A. External bonding: In early production methods (known as external bonding), sewing threads are twisted and dyed first, then the threads were passed through specialized adhesive troughs where molten glue coated the strands. After drying and setting, this achieved the bonded effect. However, this external bonding method presented drawbacks including excessive thread stiffness and color inconsistency due to adhesive-induced discoloration.

B. Internal bonding: The current mainstream approach utilizes internal bonding technology. During twisting, a low-melting-point thermoplastic fiber is incorporated into the core. After twisting, heat set production melts this thermal fiber, creating internal adhesion among plies. Subsequent dyeing and post-processing follow this bonding stage. This innovative method successfully addresses traditional limitations, producing softer threads with stable color quality.
